“Our Family of 12 enjoyed our Christmas Stay. The Snow was just beautiful but we were not able to do all planed during our visit. We do plan to come back in the future, but stay at the base of the Mountain, where those of us who can not drive in the snow need to remain, when visiting during the Winter Season.
Robert was so very patient and knowledgeable about what was needed to get us out of the driveway, as well as taking us out the best way possible to get safely down the mountain.
The Cabin was perfect for our Family and plenty of room for the Children and Adults to relax and enjoy.
Thanks again to your Staff from my Family!“

“Our stay at your cabin was an enjoyable one for our entire family as we celebrated our Mother's 90th. birthday. She got to see the bears and was very excited and pleased about that. We found the cabin very clean and adequately stocked for our stay. It was our first cabin rental and it was what we expected and more.“

“My family and I returned from our vacation on Saturday. We had a wonderful time! The house was absolutely beautiful, and the view of the mountains was just as awesome. The house came very well equipped for a large group like ours. The game room is a great addition. The only suggestions I have are to get a gas grill (we really struggled with the charcoal grill), and to replace the silverware with something more durable. Again, thanks so much!“

“My family and I had a great time in the Bears Crossing cabin. We liked the fact that it was 4 stories and had 1 or 2 bedrooms on each floor and a different purpose to each floor. The bedrooms were nice in size and decor. The game room and the "theater" room were very functional and fun to be in.
My only "constructive" comment regarding the game room was that the paddles and "pucks" were worn out and should be updated.
I appreciated that ability to access the swimming pool.
The only other "constructive" comment relates to the parking. We were only able to place 4 - 5 vehicles in the driveway area. All other vehicles had to be parked in the parking lot of the swimming pool. It would have been nice to have known this prior to getting there so that we could have planned appropriately. Fortunately for us, no one made a stink about people parking overnight in the parking lot at the swimming pool.
Overall, we had a magnificent visit.
P.S. The woman at the office was very pleasant and fun to talk to. She was very helpful and cordial with all questions that I had. She represented by home state of Ohio very well.“

“I just wanted to let you know our stay was awesome! The cabin was amazing and was much better in person. I feel like the way you have things set up are perfect including the check in/check out process (was very convenient to not have to worry about getting keys & keeping track of them). We will definitely be back next year!“

“I had a wonderful stay at the Bears Crossing. This was my 2nd time visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Last year it was a spare of the moment trip with some friends and we stayed on Dollywood Lane and it was nice. So I made sure to plan a trip for the family. It was nice but nothing compared to what was in store for us at Bears Crossing. My three children (6-9yrs old) and other family members that has never been there before had the best time of their lives. I actually won the Best Mom Award for this trip. The cabin was very spacious and well put together. I wish there were DVD players in at least the master suites but the projector screen worked just fine. I was really worried about how far up we would be b/c the windy roads just scare me.My husband did just fine considering it was his 1st time driving the roads. We saw a raccoon every night and boy are they huge. I really wanted to see the bears that the other guest talked about. Maybe next time b/c there will be a next time. Thank you so much Baskin Creek for a wonderful stay. I will recommend you to all my friend and family.
Thanks,“

“Thank you for the great service provided by your staff. Everyone was very polite and helpful during my concerns over the power being out and the snow. The only thing that was a disappointment was the gas fireplace not working correctly, other than that everything was great. Thank you for a great stay.“

“My fiancé and I finally tied the knot in Gatlinburg on December 11th and then came back to the cabin for our reception. Everything was perfect! It was a great view, beautiful fireplace, amazing decks and lots of room for everyone. We were very happy with our stay. We even saw a bear from our balcony we had never seen one in the wild so we thought it was the greatest thing ever. They weren't kidding when they named our cabin Bears Crossing! Thanks for a great time.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed the home we rented for our stay, Bears Crossing. It offered lots of room, was clean, neat, and had all we needed to enjoy our visit with our 13 relatives.
It was lovely.
There were two things that needed attended to, but we never got around to letting you know because we were so busy. The ground level tvs were fuzzy. The others were fine…probably a cable hookup issue.
The other was there was a squirrel(?) running throughout the walls of the home. I know critters are a problem, but he woke us up at about 5:30 every morning running here and there throughout the house in the walls, dropping things, etc. You may want to flush him out since he could cause problems and could be related to some of the TV problems since squirrels love to chew cables.
Other than that, the home was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.“
