There is something to be said for renting a condo on Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg. That something is: what a value, what a view, what a deal!
High Alpine Condo in Chalet Village easily accommodates six guests in the two bedrooms and baths and a queen sofa sleeper. But High Alpine offers more than the basics! You will find beautiful, modern furnishing, a complete kitchen with full sized appliances and even a washer/dryer for your convenience!
High Alpine is outfitted with a wonderful corner fireplace surrounded by natural stone, and of course, a Jacuzzi! But the view from the deck will keep you coming back! Well, that and the fact that you and your family and friends have free access to three club houses, all of which have outdoor pools, and two offer tennis courts, also! And in the winter time if you like to ski, you are not far from Ober Gatlinburg!

“We had a wonderful stay at the High Alpine location. Beautiful condo.
Having not been to Gatlinburg in the past 22 years, so much had changed I hardly recognized coming
in from Seiverville. Driving up Ski Mountain Road was very scary for us as we did not know what to
expect. Became very familiar with that road very quickly. High Alpine was the same, very scary.
Only noticed a couple things in the condo............there was dried food in the disposal side of the sink.
And tiny little dead bugs on the floors by door and windows. But, I suspect one can't help that being
in the mountains.
The view was awesome, to say the least.
Only thing we all hoped to see was bears and deer, but was not lucky enough to see them.
We have deer in our yard all the time here as we live next to a park and they are all over
the place.
I would recommend this condo to anyone and would be interested in staying there again at some point.

“Thank you for helping me with our accommodations last week. We had a great time. The condo was perfect for us. I'll learn next time to ask how far up the mountain I have to drive. It was a little intimidating, but I got used to it after a couple of days. One thing I wanted to let you know about. The turntable in the microwave oven wouldn't turn for me. It burned up a couple of things I put in there, then I learned I needed to stop the microwave every few seconds and manually turn it. Otherwise we found the condo to be well stocked with what we needed. Thanks again!“

“We recently stayed in High Alpine Condo 207 (Nov.7-11 2008) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were apprehensive about staying away from town, but wouldn't have changed the location. We had everything that we needed and a great balcony and view. We had our son and his friend from the University of Al. and our daughter, son in law and 23 mo old grandson and we had plenty of room. We are already talking about booking our stay for next year at the same time.
